Appeal to Excom Students

25 of August 2010 was a black day for Australian IT Industry when one of the major IT training providers shut its door and hours after it went into liquidation. Hundreds of employees lost their job on the spot and thousands of students, some of them who paid more than $20,000 for Express IT Courses (a job guarantee programme) were left in the middle of nowhere. Unfortunately I was one of those students. Personally I know so many students who borrowed the loan from bank to pay such a big amount of fee just dreaming that this may change their life forever. Some of them were in the middle, some of them were nearly finished with the course and some of them had just started and there would be many who would not have started yet and Excom was taking fees from students till Tuesday. So many people got affected with Excom shutdown, the hundreds of staff, vendors and thousands of students.

This website aims to get together all the students who have been affected by this, who lost their life’s savings, whose dream to change their life was shattered. This purpose of this website is to get us together and take some legal action against this and we needed an independent platform to share our opinions. There is no reason for you to pay their debt. There will be lot of information coming soon on how we should handle them. But first we need to get together. So please email us your name, phone no. (With best time to call) and email address and keep checking this page regularly for more information. And remember together we can......

Also we need more students to come forward in help in making this website as it is currently under construction so that we can share our ideas in a proper way which will visible be to all affected people rather than sending emails as correspondence (we are thinking like a forums kind of thing).

Appeal to IT Training Providers

At the moment Dimension Data Learning Solutions has came forward to help those students who have been affected during this week. However they have not got Career Builder Course or Job Guarantee for those who have been studying Express IT courses. Through this page we request more Training Providers to come forward and help us in this awful situation.

I am so happy that more Training Providers are coming forword to help students completing their training. Check Updates

Appeal to IT Companies

While studying at Excom I had chance to meet some really IT enthusiast people. They really knew what they were doing. Because most of students joined Excom for their Job Guarantee Programme we appeal all IT companies to come help these people in securing a job.
